About South Ocean Living

South Ocean Boulevard runs along the edge of the Atlantic through Palm Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton. It is a road of sea grape, salt air and very good houses. It is also where this magazine begins.

South Ocean Living is a new magazine of clean luxury, launched in October 2026. We cover four things: wellness, the home, travel and decor, with the Palm Beach coast as our home ground. The idea is simple. The finest things in life should also be things you can know: what they are made of, how they are made, and who stands behind the claims on the box.

What we do

We are curators, not a laboratory. We read the fine print so you don't have to: makers' ingredient and material disclosures, certifications checked on the certifier's own records, published test reports, guidance from regulators and standards bodies, and the work of reputable editors and experts. From that reading we choose the products, places and experiences worth your attention, and we name our sources on every piece. We do not run our own tests, and we never claim to have used something we have not. Hotels and spas are scored against a published checklist, from what they disclose and what reputable sources report.

The rules we work by are public. The Clean Standard sets out what we look for and the claims we never make. How We Choose explains what we read, how a pick earns its place and how we disclose money. The Clean Score describes how we will review hotels and spas.

Who we are

South Ocean Living is a small, independent publication, based on the Palm Beach coast.

We are not doctors, and nothing here is medical advice. When a story touches health, we cite primary sources and suggest you talk to your doctor.

AI tools help us research and draft. Every piece is checked against the sources it cites before it is published. Our picks rest on those published sources, and we describe first-hand experience only when an editor has actually had it.
